Developmental screening can help identify potential concerns early and connect children and families with the support they need. Through Help Me Grow Onondaga, the ECA Onondaga works with families, health care providers, and community partners to make developmental screening more accessible and strengthen connections to services and resources.
That work is highlighted in a story from The Hechinger Report (also published in shorter form in the New York Times) examining developmental screening rates across New York State and efforts to reach more children and families.
